Hello! My name is Dan, and I'm a wedding photographer in Bude, Cornwall.
My journey to becoming a wedding photographer started with landscape shots, exploring the natural beauty around me.
Over time, this early interest in composition and light evolved significantly when I picked up the camera at a family wedding.
It was then that I discovered my true passion: documenting the candid, heartfelt moments that make each event special.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring with my wife, Louise, and our children. Whether it’s a stroll along the coast or attending local events, these moments continually inspire my work while highlighting the importance of capturing life’s fleeting yet precious instances.

From Portsmouth to Cornwall: A Creative Journey
Originally, I’m from Portsmouth, where I grew up in a bustling household as the eldest of seven children.
Naturally, with such a large family, life was always lively and full of creativity. During the 90s, I developed a deep love for gaming, which still sticks with me today.
In fact, my love for Mario was so strong that I practically lived in my Mario top (check out the photo attached for a good laugh—it’s pure 90s nostalgia!).
Moreover, music was another big part of my upbringing—I played guitar, occasionally dabbled in drums, and even tried my hand at songwriting (though I’ll admit, singing wasn’t my strong suit!).
Creativity has always been a driving force in my life, and eventually, it’s what led me to becoming wedding photograper.
In 2018, I moved to Cornwall and settled down with my amazing wife, Louise. Together, we have two incredible children, Noah and Evie, who bring endless joy and adventure into our lives.
As a dad, I cherish the moments we spend exploring the beautiful Cornish landscapes, watching my kids grow, and capturing our family memories along the way.
Time flies, and because of that, having those moments documented is something I truly value.
